StartUp Health portfolio companies Devoted Health and Vitalize both announced funding this week. Devoted Health closed $555M of Series G primary funding as membership more than doubled and it expands to 34 states. Vitalize raised $31M in a Series A round to manage hospital staffing and capacity. Additionally, AI took over the front desk: Vocca, Parakeet Health, and InTouchNow all raised funding to answer patient calls. Rounding out the week were China's Good Mood in mental health, an autonomous surgery startup, an AI billing checker for German hospitals, and more.
