StartUp Health community member Cala Health secured $50M in growth capital from Trinity Capital to scale its wearable neuromodulation therapy, following FDA clearance of its next-generation kIQ Plus device and new Medicare coverage pathways. The milestone caps a remarkable funding trajectory that has seen the tremor therapy pioneer raise $177M across three rounds since 2021, positioning the company to move from clinical validation into full commercial scale for the millions of Americans living with essential tremor and Parkinson's disease.

Other funding this week included deals across revenue cycle management, AI precision oncology, dermatology robotics, and more.

Most health innovation still serves those already inside the system. On June 16, we're helping change that.

The inaugural Civic Health Forum – co-hosted by Fedcap, DHHF, and StartUp Health – at Civic Hall in New York City, brings together investors, AI leaders, payors, providers, and founders around the boldest challenge in healthcare: A Health Moonshot for the 99%. As AI reshapes what's possible, the largest markets in health remain undercapitalized and underserved. This forum is designed to close that gap.

The program combines strategic dialogue with curated founder showcases and structured investor meetings, all focused on moving from conversation to real outcomes: partnerships, contracts, and capital.
