Guided by extensive market research conducted throughout 2025, the DHHF Board approved a new awards framework that, according to DHHF Founder Mark H. Goldstein, “is now closely aligned with StartUp Health’s Health Moonshots and introduces a more vertically focused structure that highlights companies tackling healthcare’s most critical challenges. The updated categories better reflect how innovation is being built and scaled across the healthcare ecosystem, from prevention and diagnosis to treatment, care delivery, and long-term health outcomes.”
By aligning the awards with StartUp Health’s Health Moonshots, the two organizations are sending a clear message: the future of healthcare innovation is not about narrow technical wins. It is about solving humanity’s biggest health challenges at scale.
