Endocrine care is chronic, but the system built around it is reactive, delayed, and fragmented, according to eddii CEO & Co-founder Farhaneh Ahmadi, PhD – a member of the StartUp Health community since 2022.

Speaking at the Civic Health Forum, Dr. Ahmadi described how her team's own lived experience with endocrine conditions shaped eddii's end-to-end virtual care model, which pairs specialist oversight with AI and clinical data to treat more than 100 conditions, from diabetes and osteoporosis to rare diagnoses like Cushing's syndrome. 55% of eddii's patients live in medically underserved areas, and 80% come to the platform with complex, overlapping conditions.

A paid, outcomes-tied pilot with a Fortune 100 payer is validating that health plans will pay for this model, and eddii is now looking to expand partnerships across the payer landscape.
