Congratulations to the seven StartUp Health community members named finalists in the 2026 Digital Health & AI Awards, presented by the Digital Health Hub Foundation. Half of the 14 community members recognized as quarterfinalists earlier this month have now advanced, a strong showing for Health Transformers working on some of healthcare’s hardest problems.
The finalists span several health moonshots. Satish Movva of CarePredict and Jean Anne Booth of UnaliWear are helping older adults live with more independence and giving caregivers earlier warning when something changes. Dr. Joe Eibl of Flosonics is bringing real-time monitoring to critical care. Sean Matsuoka of General Prognostics is working toward needle-free biomarker monitoring for cardiometabolic health. Dr. Saamer Siddiqi of Livemed Health is helping community hospitals deliver specialty care close to home. Nicole Cook of Alvee and Dr. Jeff Chen and Pelin Thorogood of Radicle Science are closing gaps in civic health, from reaching patients between visits to building rigorous evidence for wellness products.
Each of these companies is pairing AI and connected tools with the people who deliver care, so problems are caught sooner and care reaches more people where they are. Here’s a closer look at the finalists.
